In Case you Missed It...

Last Friday, ACCNJ hosted its Sporting Clay Event at M&M Hunting and Sporting Clays, in Pennsville, NJ.

 

With more than 100 shooters registered, members had the opportunity to network with one another in an enjoyable atmosphere.

On April 17, the Carpentry students from Barringer High School had the chance to visit a project in Edison, NJ.

REMINDER: Safety Day
As you know, ACCNJ will recognize May 8, 2024, as SAFETY DAY. This exceptional event coincides with Construction Safety Week and OSHA's Stand Down to Prevent Falls in Construction. We also provided a list of suggested activities. Look for photos on ACCNJ's social media!

 

Fall Prevention in Construction Safety Training Program

As a reminder, in Bulletin 27-2024, we informed members ACCNJ and GBCA would be hosting AGC of America's Fall Prevention in Construction Safety Training Program on June 19 and 20, 2024, in Edison and Philadelphia, respectively. AGC/A & HCSS 2024 Work Zone Awareness Survey

As part of AGC/A’s ongoing goal to improve highway work zone safety for workers and motorists alike, they are asking you to participate in this brief survey. The answers you provide will help them better advocate for highway safety measures and educate the public about the need to drive carefully in highway work zones. Tuition Reimbursement Program

As a reminder, in Bulletin 05-2024, we informed Active Members the ACCNJ Industry Advancement Trust (IAT) has approved the continuation of the Tuition Reimbursement Program for eligible, full-time employees of ACCNJ member firms that contribute to the IAT. The courses selected must be aimed at providing job-related knowledge and skills for construction personnel in either office or field operations. REMINDER: ACCNJ Educational Workshop Series

ACCNJ Coffee Talk Series

Annual Golf Tournament & Dinner - SOLD OUT, SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE

ACCNJ's Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner will be held Monday, June 3, 2024, at Rockaway River Country Club. The day will consist of lunch, followed by golf, a dinner reception, and prizes. This event is SOLD OUT, however sponsorships and registrations for dinner are still being accepted. Visit the event page for more information.

 

June Membership Meeting
In Bulletin 29-2024, we invited members to attend the next Membership Meeting/Scholarship Luncheon scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, 2024, 12:00pm, at The Wilshire Grand Hotel, West Orange, NJ. At this program, the ACCNJ Scholarship Foundation will present financial awards to the candidates selected from this year’s distinguished pool of applicants. 2024 Fall Convention Sponsorships

In Bulletin 28-2024, we announced the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey’s 2023 Annual Report, which captures the activity of our organization and shows the achievements of the Association, is now available digitally. Advertising Opportunities in New Jersey Construction Magazine
