NJ DOT Design Build Seminar

Description

The New Jersey Department of Transportation will be implementing a Design Build Procurement method for a number of projects in the near future.

On Friday, July 12, 2024, the NJDOT has scheduled an industry workshop for contractors, engineers and academia partners to prepare for this new project delivery method. The workshop will include presentations from the NJDOT, as well as construction, engineering and academia representatives regarding the best practices for the design build process. There will be a "Question & Answer" period with the presenters and the audience. The Department will also report to the industry where it currently is in the development process of its Design Build Program.

This half-day event is an opportunity for the industry to collaborate with the NJDOT regarding the finalization of this new procurement method to be used by the Department.

The event will take place at Forsgate Country Club located in Monroe, New Jersey.
