ACCNJ Educational Series: Public Speaking Professional Development

As part of our Educational Workshop Series, ACCNJ will be hosting a 4-part Public Speaking Professional Development series at the ACCNJ Offices in Edison. Must attend all sessions to complete the course:

Sessions 1 & 2: September 17, 2025

Course Overview
This interactive professional development series is designed to empower professionals with the communication tools necessary to thrive in today's workplace. Participants will learn how to communicate with clarity and confidence, strategically network at professional events, and craft an elevator pitch and "why story" that leaves a lasting impression. The training moves beyond surface-level communication, focusing on practical strategies to build authentic connections, enhance storytelling, and establish executive presence. Through engaging sessions that include hands-on practice, participants will develop key skills in vocal variety, body language, and message delivery, ultimately transforming how they show up in meetings, presentations, and leadership moments. Whether interacting internally or representing the organization externally, this series prepares staff to communicate with purpose, connect with influence, and lead with impact. 

Course Outcomes

• Interactive training on Communication Mastery in the Workplace, including clarity, tone, and professional presence.
• Strategic networking techniques to maximize impact and build meaningful connections at professional events.
• Step-by-step guidance to craft and deliver a compelling elevator pitch and personal "why story".
• Practical strategies for mastering non-verbal communication and engaging any audience with confidence.

ACCNJ’s IAT will be subsidizing this series of half-day workshops. No additional discounts or ACCNJ tuition reimbursement will apply. A light breakfast and course material will be included.
