ACCNJ October Safety Council Meeting

Description

As you know, the ACCNJ Safety Council serves as a networking and information exchange opportunity for members, including Construction Managers, General Contractors, and Subcontractors, as well as OSHA area representatives and the general construction trades’ training directors. Each meeting will contain an educational element and set agenda. 

We host quarterly meetings over lunch, with presentations by ACCNJ members, vendors, labor partners and OSHA. The Fall meeting is scheduled for October 9, 2026, at the Association Offices, Edison, NJ, 3rd Floor Conference Room, at 11:30 AM. The cost to attend is $30 per person.

We look forward to having the one and only Bob Sagendorf of Eii, Inc. lead us in an interactive presentation, “Don’t get BURNED!” Fire Emergencies on the Construction Jobsite…When Every Second Counts. Topics will include Emergency Readiness (Emergency Action Plans, Fire Exits and Signage); Smart Material Storage and Housekeeping; Fire Extinguisher Location and Use; Flammable Liquid and Gas Storage, Use and Dispensing; and Electrical and Equipment Safety. There will be a hands-on team exercise: come ready to participate. If you don’t know Bob…we can assure you, this will be educational and extremely interactive!
